Karen Moreno has worked for the State of California for more than 25 years, and has the optimism and drive of a starry-eyed rookie. She has worked in the development and implementation of statewide programs for several Departments, including Corrections, Motor Vehicles and her current gig with Housing & Community Development. She has been the President of Sacramento’s Crime Alert, a coordinator for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and a Big Sister. She believes wholeheartedly in the idea of Lagniappe.
